The direct comparison record between teams is used to determine the winner when they have the same number of points in the group stage. The following criteria are used to determine the winner:

The team with the most points in direct encounters wins.
2. Goal Difference in Direct Encounters
If the teams are tied on points in direct encounters, the team with the better goal difference wins.
3. Goals Scored in Direct Encounters
If the teams are tied on goal difference in direct encounters, the team with the most goals scored in direct encounters wins.
