Olympic Medalist Noah Lyles Returning to Alexandria for Celebration

Alexandria Native Celebrates Success with Community

Track and field Olympic medalist Noah Lyles is set to return to his hometown of Alexandria, Virginia, for a celebration in his honor. The event will take place on August 27th at the Charles Houston Recreation Center and will feature a parade, speeches, and a meet-and-greet with Lyles.

Lyles, who won the bronze medal in the 200-meter dash at the Tokyo Olympics, has been a standout performer in track and field for years. He is a two-time NCAA champion and has won multiple medals at the world championships.

The celebration in Alexandria is a chance for the community to celebrate Lyles' success and to show their support for the young athlete. The event is also a way to inspire young people in Alexandria to pursue their dreams.

Lyles is excited to return to his hometown and celebrate with the community. He said, "I'm so grateful for the support that I've received from Alexandria over the years. I'm excited to come back and share my Olympic experience with everyone."

The celebration will begin with a parade at 10:00 AM, which will proceed from the Charles Houston Recreation Center to the Alexandria City Hall. Lyles will then give a speech at City Hall, followed by a meet-and-greet at the Charles Houston Recreation Center.
